A Women’s Circle
Laguna Bacalar, Mexico

February 20 - 27, 2010

The gateway to Laguna Bacalar is the Cancun International Airport.  A van will take you directly to the retreat center, a four hour journey.  We will be staying at Akal-ki, a natural sanctuary that was chosen by the sages of ancient Maya people as a place of purification, healing, and rebirth.

Plan to arrive Saturday, February 20 by 12 noon, so that you can join us for dinner and our opening circle in our thatched roof palapa.  If you need to arrive a day earlier, we can arrange a night at a hotel by the airport, and a van to pick you up the morning of February 20.  Each day will begin with breakfast followed by morning circle.  Yoga will be scheduled throughout the week.  There are spa services at the Akal-ki, and we are also planning one journey to the ancient Mayan city of Kohunlich.  Evening group will be after dinner with our final gathering/closing ritual Friday, February 26.  Plan to leave from the Cancun International Airport no earlier than 11 am, February 27. Your accommodations are beautiful bungalows perched on the Laguna, with private bath and a deck right on the lake.

The cost of the retreat is $2000, which includes the retreat, lodging (double occupancy), all meals, and the journey to Kohunlich.  For single occupancy, add $400.  Fee does not include airport transfers or tips.

A non-refundable $500 deposit will hold your space.  Full payment is due by December 20, 2009.  Cancellations must be received in writing by December 20, 2009 for your payment (less the deposit) to be refunded.

We accept credit card and other payments through PayPal.  The PayPal fee is reflected in the balance due in the cart.

A Women’s Circle by the Sea

Isla Mujeres, Mexico

March 20 - 27, 2010

The gateway to Isla Mujeres is Cancun Mexico’s International Airport.  After a 30 minute taxi ride to Puerto Juarez, you will take a ferry to Isla Mujeres.  We will be staying at Na Balam Hotel, an intimate, informal hotel on the north beach where the landscaped trails, tropical gardens with hammocks hidden away, and the beauty of the ocean will provide a perfect abode for our retreat.

Plan to arrive Saturday, March 20 by 6:00 PM when we will gather for dinner and our opening circle in our thatched roof palapa.  Each day will begin with breakfast followed by the morning circle.  Yoga will be scheduled throughout the week.  After lunch there will be free time to explore the island, snorkel, siesta, read in the hammock on your private patio, play on the beach, get a massage, swim in the ocean or shop at the local craft markets.  Evening group will be after dinner with our final gathering/closing ritual Friday, March 26.
